    Julia oversees the day-to-day schedule and operations of the University Testing Center, including the facility, technology, logistics and staffing. Her responsibilities include proctoring exams and communicating with students and faculty on a regular basis to facilitate testing and maintain test integrity. Julia maintains accurate and confidential documentation related to testing, accommodations, and correspondence with students, faculty and staff. She hires, schedules and trains proctors, including part-time, student staff, as well as volunteers during peak times. Committed to promoting accessibility both on and off campus, Julia is also a member of the Special Olympics Virginia Volunteer Committee.

    • Professional Experience

      Accessibility Specialsit, Disability Services (2021-2026)

      • Served as a campus resource for students with disabilities who required academic accommodation support.
      • Managed the Disability Services Testing Center, as well as direct academic accommodation support. 
      • Served as the primary Disability Services staff member regarding academic accommodation determination outcome decisions, and management of academic accommodations through case management and faculty support. 


      Assistant to the Vice President for Student Development, University of Richmond (2013 - 2021)

      • Managed the calendar and event logistics for the Vice President for Student Development, ensuring accurate scheduling and coordination for meetings and campus-wide events.
      • Served as a member of the Student Development Leadership Team, organizing regular meeting agendas, minutes, and tracking action items across departments.
      • Staffed the Student Development Board of Trustees Committee meetings, preparing and distributing reports and documentation.
      • Managed the budget and website for the Office of the Vice President for Student Development, including data entry, tracking, and reporting of financial and operational information.
      • Supported divisional operations by establishing and maintaining processes for effective communication, policy implementation, and operational planning.
      • Collaborated closely with staff and campus partners to support the evolving needs of student spaces and services, including procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies.


      Administrative Specialist for the Richmond College Dean's Office, University of Richmond (2009 - 2013)

      • Coordinated logistics for all major programs and traditions of Richmond College.
      • Assisted the associate dean in his duties associated with new/transfer student orientation.
      • Documented attrition of Richmond College students and assisted the dean in the preparation of the official Richmond College attrition report at the end of each semester.
      • Maintained all budgets for the Richmond College Dean’s Office, including paper and electronic records.

      • Maintained budgets, entered and tracked database information, and maintained multiple staff schedules.
      • Provided administrative support to the three Area Coordinators and Associate Dean for Residence Life.
