    Tom Roberts has been with the University of Richmond for 34 years in numerous well-being positions and is beginning his fourth year as the Associate Vice President of Health and Well-being leading and bringing together University Recreation, Health Promotion, Student Health, Counseling and Psychological Services, Disability Services, and the Center for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response.  He recently provided leadership and oversight for the planning and design of the new Well-Being Center that opened in January 2021. In 1988 he became the first Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Richmond where he established the Campus Recreation Department eventually renaming it Recreation and Wellness.  He started his career at Old Dominion University as the Assistant Director of Recreational Sports before moving onto San Diego State University where he was Manager of Recreational Sports and an Instructor of Sports Administration.
